There is not much you need to do in preparation for the first interview. It is soley a verbal interaction and the idea is that you are comfortable and relate the various problems and circumstances you may have in a non-judgemental atmosphere.

It is sometimes helpful to have notes on the chronology of the various major health problems, including childhood diseases and when and how they started. These notes are not essential though.

Please note that in homeopathy, not only are the physical symptoms and their chronology important, but that your general state, including positive and negative emotional circumstances are also important for the selection of the correct homeopathic remedy. Your personal make up and circumstances help to individualize a remedy specially for you. Therefore, there will be some inquiry into this area.

For children, part of the interview will be where the child is present with the parent or parents, and part where there will be just a discussion with the parent alone.

Again, being comfortable with the whole process is important and if you have any concerns or questions before, during or after the interview please communicate them.

Details for Having an Interview Via Skype or Ichat.

Interviews especially follow ups over the web can be effective if you have a good enough web cam and microphone system.

Here are some guidelines:

1. Make sure you have a working web cam and audio system for your computer.

2. Have a valid account with Skype or Ichat. (Ichat has a better picture) Louis Klein is on both.

3. Email Louis Klein at health@louisklein.com with your account name on whichever system you choose. Also include the telephone number you will be at when you are having the appointment. Louis Klein will then email you back with his account name.

4. Make sure you have your skype or ichat program turned on at the appointed time.

5. You or Louis Klein can attempt the connection at the appointment time. If no connection occurs then call Louis Klein's direct line 604-947-0763.

The forms below are easy to fill out. They ask for some very basic information and agreements. If you have some questions about any item we can discuss it in the first interview.

"California Senate Bill SB-577, which was signed by the governor in September 2002, has profound implications for the practice of alternative forms of health care in California. SB-577 enables alternative and complementary health care practitioners to provide and advertise their services. However, they must also comply with certain requirements specified within the bill."

If you have not already signed the California disclosure, please download the information sheet about Bill SB-577, as well as the disclosure form. Please print and read them both. Then sign the disclosure form and bring them both to the interview.

Fees and Cancellation Policy

At the time of booking your initial 2 hour appointment, a credit card will be necessary to hold your appointment.

New patient appointments can be changed or cancelled at no charge with more than 7 days notice.

If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 7 days notice your credit card will be charged 50 % of the fee.

If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 3 days notice your credit card will be charged the entire fee.

With follow up appointments, there is no credit card required to book. Two days notice for changes or cancellations for follow up appointments is required otherwise you will be charged the full fee.

At the first interview, you will receive a sheet with our complete fee schedule.
